The only other review currently regarding this product is somewhat accurate, but it also shows that the other reviewer didn't quite understand what thread count refers to.This is a very good, solid comforter, but it's a down comforter for less than $200. The stripes are less prominent than shown in the photo, but that's due to lighting and not misrepresentation. This is not the greatest blanket on earth, but it *is* pretty much what is advertised. The seller lets you know it's a 50 oz blanket. That's not very heavy, but it doesn't need to be. Unless you live above the arctic circle or keep your home temp below 60 degrees, I can't imagine a heavier goosedown blanket being desirable. The blanket is very warm without being overly heavy.The other reviewer is right about the "Siberian Goose down" claim -- it isn't. But it is goose down, and siberian goose down is no better or worse than other goose down. For the life of me, I can't imagine why down from an endangered species would be an advertised perk...be assured, though, that this down is 100% *not* siberian goose down. I'd recommend the seller update the info. The "siberian goose down" bit is a hoax started for who knows what reason that many down comforter sellers claim.The item shipped within 12 hours of the order and was received in 3 business days. The seller and item receive 4 stars because I knew what I was getting despite this misinformation. It's not a bad blanket for under $200. So far. I've had it for a day and it took a while to "fluff" up, so we'll see.

I did not Order this one but it was what I got. I ordered a similar one with out the stripes and a few dollars more (at the time a few days before it was cheaper, go figure ). I guess it is pretty much the same anyway. I thought I was getting a good deal, 750 FP and 50 oz for $147. But I should have know I was going to get what I paid for. All my other comforters of 750FP and 50 oz I brought in Europe where always very lofty and very very warm, much better quality but more expensive although not a lot more. This one I really doubt it is what it says, it has no labels on it so who knows what it is. It is not lofty at all and is just warm enough with an extra blanket and a hot water bottle in a room at 67 degrees. I am disappointed, I did not want to use a blanket for me it defeats the purpose of a comforter with a Duvet Cover and I do believe if it was what it says I would not need a blanket. I have given it 3 stars because the customer service was good and they tried hard to meat my satisfaction. I brought at the same time from the same seller a Duvet Set that was not nice or good quality at all. In my review to that I do say it is the first time I given bad feed back which does not feel good to do but I want to avoid others having the same experience. The quality of these product does not seem to be what it should be, I have also wondered if they are selling seconds. The customer service is great I have to say that but does that justify selling bad products?

Before I bought this comforter, I read all the reviews and took everyone of them into consideration. I honestly think it all depends on your experiences with who manufactured the down comforter! The review on the 750FP, 50 oz, not being warm is ridiculious! The review about the stripes not being prominent is somewhat accurate. I suppose it depends on how much lighting you have in your room or how much sunlight shines through your window. I have no idea whether it truely is Siberian Goose Down, but who cares, Down is Down, and it's under $200! With all that being said, it was shiped within a few days and delivered within a week of my purchase. Since it was packaged very tight, the comforter needed time to breath and it did have a little smell. I'm sure the smell was due to the 100 degree temps and how it was packaged. Also there was no mess of feathers! In 2 days it no longer had that smell and it started to "Fluff." After 2 weeks, I'm loving how "fluffed" this comforter has actually become! The lines for me are very prominent and its a beautiful comforter! I have a split queen frame and I have always had trouble with full/queen comforters being too small; this one fits like a queen! The sewing job is exceptional, and the squares are all equal size. Around the entire edge is a rope like finish, it is very classy!This is by far the softest, most beautiful, and most comfortable Down comforter I have ever bought! I do not overheat at all during the hot summer evenings, and I stay perfectly warm during the cold Colorado nights! And I just have to add, I take my sleep very seriouly as I have a toddler and a teen that can make some of my days very long. I am not saying this comforter will help you sleep better but since I have been using it, I fall asleep faster, feel like I am sleeping on clouds, and wake up feeling very refreshed!I rate this Comforter 5 stars, for the price, customer satifaction, quality, beauty, and comfort!
