Have owned this mattress pad since Jan 2009 and can attest to it being extremely comfortable. The incline takes a little while to get used to but after you sleep on the foam it can be hard to go back to a flat bed. It has helped me snore a lot less and relieved some of the back aches and pains I used to wake up with.The chemical smell dissipated within a week. I followed the directions and let the foam sit on the bed to fully expand for the day and used it at night.The only negative I have found is that it has started to wear down after owning it for about 11 months. There are some foam chips in areas and the color is no longer uniform throughout. Also as others have stated normal sized fitted sheets will be a little snug on the headboard side as the foam is thickest there.Love this item and will recommend it to anyone looking to rejuvenate their older mattress, or just to feel more comfortable and snore less. Will buy another once the price drops as gifts to my older relatives.Jan 2011 Edit:After about a year and a half, the pad really started to wear out. As of Jan 2011, this item is basically unusable.I'll try and see if the warranty is still valid but the foam is now sagging badly in the middle and when you lie down, the edges around the corners of the pad all raise up. Instead of providing good resistance and support, it feels like you are falling into the middle of the bed now. More updates to follow once I am able to contact the warranty department.

This is wonderful!!! It does have an odor at first but I just let it air out a few days before using it. It is sooooo comfortable and gives me the raised head area I need(I have a hiatal hernia and it's suggested I sleep with my head raised) I used a pillow wedge before this but was never really comfortable. If this wears out I will certainly buy another.

I bought a king size version of this mattress from a Tuesday Morning store. The incline works OK, my wife thought it was a bit too firm, but the big problem is the stench.In the instructions that came with this mattress it stated that there might be an odor, but that any chemical smell was supposed to dissipate within a few days of opening the packaging. Not so. It is now about six weeks and it stinks so bad with an artificial chemical or plastic smell that it is simply not usable. I am going to have to throw this thing away. Don't waste your money on this.
