3 of my 4 kids have been sleeping for years on mattresses that we inherited or received from other family members. Being 12, 8, and 7, they deserved mattresses of their own. I went looking on several websites and locally for twin mattresses that weren't bargain basement but also weren't really expensive. I didn't have much luck."TO THE AMAZON!"

I purchased this queen size mattress for my son's bed. It arrived quickly and was easy to unbox and set up. The mattress was fully expanded within 7 hours and he slept on it the first night. The mattress is firm but very comfortable with no chemical/manufacturing smells. We placed it on an Ikea Malm bed frame with plywood under it for support. This mattress was less than the cost of a spring mattress and is so much more comfortable. The day after it came, I was trying it out and fell asleep on it almost immediately. If you are new to memory foam mattresses, it takes about 2-3 weeks to get used to them. I have a memory foam mattress and I found it to be very uncomfortable at first. The muscles in my back were being stretched every night when I relaxed on the bed and it was painful. Over time this was great because my back pain went away. I never wake up feeling stiff in the morning. Just give it a few weeks if you have ever suffered from lower back pain. Now I can't sleep on any other type of bed. Memory foam is awesome and this bed is great. It is a steal for the price.

I LOVE this bed. My brother had this bed in his guest room and I noticed that I slept like a baby every time I visited, so my husband and I decided to get one of our own. Not only is it 1/3 of the price of our last king bed which lasted about 2 years before being uncomfortable, but it is 5x as comfortable as the old one EVER was. It offers great support, and I never wake up aching anymore. I always thought I was one of those people who needs a very soft bed, but now that I have a firm bed - I could never go back. When you lay on it the first time you think "hm this is not very comfy" but once you lay down, you are asleep! I used to have to read at least an hour in bed before I could fall asleep - now I usually can't read at all because once I hit the pillow, I'm asleep!I HIGHLY recommend it.
