The set is pretty--- of good quality. The blue is an icy aqua and it is all very elegant looking. I think this will hold up very well-- I've been searching for weeks for the perfect comforter set and this one is ideal. It is not thin but actually has some nice filling to it--- especially looks nice with my down comforter beneath it. HOWEVER, the description implies that the Euro shams are included. I would not have purchased this had I known this ahead of time as the other set I was looking at getting had them included.UPDATE: This comforter has held up well thus far, though there is some minor pilling that is really only noticeable if you press your face very closely. I also have 2 large dogs who I sometimes let snuggle with me (to my husbands dismay) on the bed. There has been no snagging or catching of the threads. It is still beautiful and I'm very happy with the quality. We are preparing to upgrade to a king sized bed and I will happily buy another croscill set.

The Laviano comforter set was beautiful. The picture did no justice to it. The quality was nice, the colors bolder than appeared. I painted my room a BM color called Palladian Blue and it looks fantastic with this set. The matching sheet set that arrived seperately was so soft.

We ordered this bedset after searching for a few months at various stores & online. We were taking a risk because we could not see the exact hue of blue, but it matched perfectly (not dark or too light) . The quality is superb and you can tell it's not cheaply made. Suprisingly, it's a perfect thickness for the winter (from the picture we did not expect it to be as thick). We ordered a king set, but please be advised that the picture you see is not reflecting a king bed, so when we ordered the set along with purchasing the additional pillows it did not look like the picture shown. For example, we had to order additional shams in the back because our bed was too long and the lack of pillows produced a gap. All and all, it's a great set and worth every penny because we love coming home to look at our bed. We only wish that the additional toss pillows were included because they are slightly pricey. Gorgeous set, recommend purchasing it :-)
