Fabric Definition
Flannel: Flannel fabrics are noted for their fuzzy softness, warmth, and durability, and they can be dyed or printed. Thought to have been popularized in Wales in the 17th century, flannel was an all-wool fabric made of woolen or worsted yarns, with a brushed surface and a soft napped finish obscuring its weave. Flannel may be plain woven or twill woven and, today, most flannel fabrics are made of cotton fibers or synthetic rayon fibers that are slightly napped on both sides to resemble the old woolen or worsted yarn weaves. A wide range of flannel weights and textures is available. The fabric weight and quality of the napping affect the warmth and softness of the fabric. Many people prefer flannel bedding during the cold, winter months, but some flannel weights are appropriate in breathability and comfort all year long.

I love this duvet cover. The comforter fit inside very nicely and I like the way the bottom buttons up. The cover that I had didn't have as many buttons as this one and the comforter would show and poke out sometimes. This cover is sewn across the bottom, part way in from each side, and it keeps the comforter from trying to slide out through the buttons. I love the way it looks and feels too. Great product.

By Wang Xikuan
Bought this duvet cover and matching sheets. Tons of shedding, unbelievable. Yes, it's soft, warm and cuddly. I just can't stand waking up everyday with blue lint everywhere. Washed it, dried it & got a pound of blue lint in the dryer screen along with a blue dryer drum. Washed it second time with vinegar,no help.Made the mistake of putting it on my duvet which is now covered in flannel lint. The lint got all over my clothes and I had to vacuum my bed and the floor.

I LOVE this duvet cover!! The fannel is nice and soft, isn't too heavy or thick and fits our queen size comforter easily. The closure buttons runs down the side of the cover instead of the bottom, but that's no big deal since they are completely covered. It's super snuggly. The only note I would make is that this is just the duvet cover, there are no pillow shams included in case you are expecting them based on the picture shown.
