The king comforter is great for thinner mattresses and platform beds with a 14-inch drop on all sides. The single piece silk batting is sewn directly to the comforter edge and tacked in the middle to eliminate bunching or shifting. I was given this comforter as a gift- the linen quality is beautiful and weight is amazing- it is light as a cloud while still providing great warmth. I keep it on my bed most of the year. I would recommend this product and brand anyone who values great linens.

This amazingly soft, light comforter has solved a "temperature" problem for my husband and myself. I can sleep cozy and warm while my husband enjoys the same comforter without feeling too warm. I was told this would be the case, but was skeptical. Since we purchased our White Loft comforter the end of January we have kept it on the bed until now (July 15th). It has become the elegant answer to years of pulling more blankets around me while my husband threw them off. The lovely duvet cover is equally soft and washable for a fresh, comfortable night's sleep. My family has purchased White Loft comforters as well once they learned of our success solving the thermostat problem.

I love this comforter! When the summer brought more humid warm nights the comforter was breathable and I was sleeping so much better. While it is cool and airy in the summer it never feels too light and is a perfect warmth in the winter.It comes with a protective cotton cover that has very convenient ties and loops that keep the comforter from slipping down within the cover. By itself it is absolutely lovely, and since it already has a cover I sometimes make the bed without my patterned duvet because there is nothing more divine than a fresh white bed!It is a comfortable and elegant bedding piece that I would recommend to anyone!
