By N. Norstad
I went from Macy's bedding department to Scandia Down, so I got the best education in sales. Warm Things has the same high quality products as Scandia or any other high end retailer (department stores carry substandard down products across the board), but Warm Things has great pricing, about a third of what you would pay for this quality anywhere else. If you buy the right comforter, it will last your lifetime. They actually revive with washing, although it might effect any warrantee. Warm Things does not have costly retail space to pass on to you in the form of jacked-up pricing, and their sales happen seasonally, when the deals get even better. With good down, you do not need the warmest, heaviest weight comforter. It's all about loft (fill-power) and region (bigger birds are in colder climates, like Hungary). In these countries, down is a byproduct of the food industry, so you don't have to feel sorry for the geese.

Very nice comforter at a great price. VERY warm but I tend to overheat at night--not the comforters fault. It dries quickly.

By Who Am I?
If you have pure white sheets on your bed you will notice that the white comforter is actually a very light grey color. This really bothered me at first because I often don't like using duvet covers because they make the comforter too hot for me. But after using the comforter for a month I have to say that it's so soft, fluffy and just heavenly that I don't care that it's grey. The fabric is delicious. I'm really happy with this product and am now ordering a down robe from this company.
